About AICCA
A Christian ministry association that trains chaplains to serve.
An outreach of Global Chaplain University, based in Orlando, Florida.
Mission
The American International Christian Chaplains Association is an outreach of Global Chaplain University that seeks to identify, train and certify Christian chaplains who are dedicated and willing to serve: men and women who take seriously the words of Matthew 25:35-36, I was hungry and ye gave me to eat: I was thirsty and ye gave me to drink. I was sick and ye visited me. I was in prison and ye came unto me.
Philosophy
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). At AICCA, where excellence is valued, we seek to train and certify chaplains who serve with distinction, wherever they are called, in the caring mission of the Lord Jesus Christ, following in His footsteps.

Code of ethics
How AICCA chaplains work with other professionals.
- Understand your own limitations and refer people to other professionals when appropriate.
- Promote justice in your relationships, your institutions and society.
- Represent your professional qualifications and affiliations accurately.
- Exercise good stewardship of the resources entrusted to you and use sound financial practices.
- Respect the opinions, beliefs and professional work of colleagues and other professionals.
Our certification, plainly stated
AICCA certification is ecclesiastical: it is issued by a Christian ministry association, not by a state licensing board or an academic accreditor. Hospitals, correctional facilities and other institutions set their own requirements. Before enrolling, ask the organization where you hope to serve whether it accepts AICCA certification.
The training
Our two courses, Crisis Counseling and Pastoral Psychology, are taught in recorded video lectures by AICCA faculty and delivered through the AICCA Online Campus, with a live Zoom training session led by AICCA leadership. See the full curriculum.
