The AICCA Chaplaincy Program
Sixteen recorded video lessons, a chaplain training video, a live Zoom session with AICCA leadership, and the certificate, badge and ID card of a certified Christian chaplain. $599, one year of campus access included.
What this certification is. AICCA certification is ecclesiastical: it is issued by a Christian ministry association, not by a state licensing board or an academic accreditor. Hospitals, correctional facilities and other institutions set their own requirements. Before enrolling, ask the organization where you hope to serve whether it accepts AICCA certification.

Practical, biblical ways to comfort people in shock, grief, anger, guilt or depression, and to walk with them toward peace.

The practical ministry of a chaplain: hospital, prison and nursing-home visits, funerals and marriages, witnessing, and the attitudes that sustain a minister.

One video, about 22 minutes
Lessons are streamed video: watch on a phone, tablet or computer, pause and rewatch freely. Each course lists its eight lessons in order, then the final exam. The exam is 100 multiple-choice questions, ten per page, with your score and a pass or retry message shown the moment you finish. You may attempt each exam up to three times.
Your campus login is created automatically when your payment completes and emailed to you within minutes. Access lasts twelve months; after that it renews at $99 per year.

Your certificate of completion and certification in Christian Chaplaincy, issued by AICCA once both exams are passed and your photo ID is verified.

A live online training session with AICCA leadership, included with the program. Dates and details are emailed after you enroll.
Twenty-four-hour access to the AICCA Online Campus, both video courses and both exams, for twelve months. After that you can renew campus access for $99 per year; renewal is not automatic.
